The sponsorship is easy: When you go shopping for a Christmas present, buy one more for a child in Srebrenica. Furthermore, we would like you to write a short Christmas letter in which you tell a little about yourself, what you do for a living, your hobbies, etc. This way the children know who gives them the presents.
In Srebrenica we will do a workshop with the children where they will learn creative writing. At the end of the workshop they will write a short story about their life in Srebrenica. These short stories will be printed in a German translation and given to the Christmas sponsors in return for their present.
The contact between sponsor and child after Christmas will be voluntary, yet desired and supported accordingly.
